About Hope Church

We are a lively, family church with a passion for Jesus and real desire to make a difference in the world. Our Sunday meetings are fun and informal, and include people of all ages. We aim to be Bible-based, Jesus-centred and Holy Spirit led, to be 'missional' in our approach to life, and to love others as Jesus has loved us. We want to reach Bangor and Anglesey with the transforming hope of the Good News about Jesus. Whether you feel the same as us, or are just exploring the possibility of Christian faith, we would love to have you along for the ride!

Sunday Meetings

On Sunday mornings we meet all together to worship God, hear teaching from the Bible and celebrate all that Jesus has done for us. Even if you don't normally go to church, you're very welcome to come along and see what it's like.

Connect Groups and Discipleship Groups

Each fortnight we meet up in medium-sized groups called Connect Groups. This is a chance to catch up with each other, worship together, and get to grips with the Bible in a practical way. On the alternative fornights we meet up in smaller Discipleship Groups. This is where we can be honest and open with each other with those who are committed to us, and be encouraged to be disciples and to make disciples.

Connect Groups are open to all, so please come along. If you would like to get involved in a Discipleship Group please ask you Connect Group leader or one of the leadership team.

The Alpha Course
alpha

We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view. Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith, and it's open to everyone. Alpha starts on Wednesday 18th October at 7pm in the Belle Vue Pub, College Road (map). We'd love to see you there!
